The IS200EPSMG2AED is a driver power module developed by GE for the Mark VI system. The MKVI is the last of the Speedtronic series created by General Electric for gas and steam turbine management. While the Speedtronic series has been used for turbine management since 1969, the Mark VI is much more advanced than those earlier systems, using a Windows PC as an HMI or operator interface. The operating interface includes full-color graphics (CIMPLICITY) and Ethernet capabilities.

The IS200EPSMG2AED is one of two EPSM boards used in the Mark VI system. The first set of modules (EPSMG1) is used for thyristor systems. The IS200EPSMG2AED board is used for regulator control. The two boards are similar, but the IS200EPSMG2AED includes an EPSD child board.

The IS200EPSMG2AED is designed to convert the DC link voltage to the different voltages required for EX2100 regulator control. The IS200EPSMG2AED offers +5v DC voltage, +/-15v DC voltage and +24v DC voltage. In a simplex system, an IS200EPSMG2AED board is mounted on the ERBP backplane. In redundant systems, two boards are mounted on the base plate (ERBP (M1) and ERRB(M2)).
