Hydran™M2 is a continuous in-line monitoring device for dissolved gases and moisture in oil developed for transformer failure conditions.

It provides critical monitoring information and minimizes the risk of unplanned downtime. By connecting additional sensors, such as top and bottom tank oil temperature, transformer load or ambient temperature, additional information can be captured and used to correlate DGA and humidity values for a deeper analysis of the condition of the transformer.

This rich data can not only be used for raw transmission options through M2's extensive communication, but can also be converted into useful information through IEEE® on-board calculations based on standard transformer mathematical models to provide further state information.

With the latest Mark III version, the Hydran M2 display has been completely overhauled with a new electronic circuit board and power supply to make it RoHS compliant, addressing any outdated issues and further enhancing this time-proven product.
