The IC200CMM020 is the VersaMax I/O series serial communication module from GE Fanuc (now part of Emerson Automation Solutions). It acts as the Modbus RTU master in the VersaMax I/O Station controlled by the Genius Network Interface Unit (NIU). Serial communication modules, such as the IC200CMM020, can be installed anywhere within the I/O Station. Each I/O Station can accommodate up to two serial communication modules.
