This special rack fan can be used in 5-slot series 90-70 racks or 9-slot PACSystems RX7i racks. The IC697ACC624 fan assembly provides additional rack cooling for installations where heat buildup may be an issue.

The low noise level will be a welcome addition to any complete assembly, as this is achieved through the use of ball bearings for extended service life.

Depending on the manufacturer, it is recommended to connect the fan to the same power supply as the PLC to ensure that the fan works properly when the PLC is active. Each of the two fans is connected in parallel by using a cable assembly.

The cable assembly is supplied with the kit and plugs into the fan wiring connector located on the back. Depending on the user's choice, the strip end can be used to connect a 120 or 240 VAC power adapter.
