The EPRO PR9376/010-011 9200-00097 head is a differential sensor consisting of a half-bridge with two Hall effect sensor elements. The processing of the end Hall voltage, which is amplified multiple times by an integrated operational amplifier, is performed digitally in the DSP. Inside, the DSP determines the difference in Hall voltage and compares it with a reference value. The result of this comparison is a push-pull output that is available without shorting for a short period of time (up to 20 seconds). If the soft magnetic or steel trigger mark is at a right Angle (i.e. transverse), the sensor's magnetic field will distort the adjustment of the Hall level and the switching of the output signal.


The output signal remains high or low enough to trigger the mark to cause reverse detuning of the half-bridge. The output signal is a steeply sloping voltage pulse. For this reason, capacitive coupling of electronic devices is possible even at low trigger frequencies. Highly precision electronics, sealed in a rugged stainless steel housing and isolated by a connection cable with teflon - if metal protective tubing is required - ensure safety even in harsh industrial environments.
