It expands the flexibility, functionality and application areas of SafetyBridge systems. Safety-related output modules as well as logic modules with an extended range of functions have now been added to the currently available input and logic modules. Various output modules offer outputs with positive, positive/negative switches, and floating outputs with electrical isolation.

Now, with a new range of capabilities, it is possible to capture and output up to 48 safety-relevant single channel or up to 24 dual channel inputs or outputs. Safeconf software is used to parameterize modules and configure security logic in a user-friendly manner.

There are 14 different safety-related function modules, from simple emergency stops to various mute blocks. Since this security solution is completely independent of any particular network and control system, it offers a high degree of flexibility when integrating functional security into machines and systems. SafetyBridge technology represents a security solution that can be networked without security-related control systems. It can be implemented using any automation network. Security-related modules mixed with non-security-related online I/o can be distributed under various standard control systems in the network.
