艾默生DeltaV系统中有六种功能块：

先进控制（Advanced Control）功能块–为先进过程控制实现复杂算法功能

高级（Advanced）功能块– 执行诸如表决和顺序等高级功能

模拟控制（Analog Control）功能块–为广泛的模拟控制执行简单和复杂的算法

能量计量（Energy Metering）功能块–为天然气，蒸气或其它流体执行数学流量计算

输入/输出（I/O）功能块–用在其它功能块或现场设备的缩放，转换，和滤波输入和输出信号

逻辑（Logical）功能块–为顺序，计划和联锁执行逻辑功能。

数学（Math）功能块–执行转换，积分和累加的数学功能。

定时/计数（Timer/Counter）功能块– 为控制和排序，执行定时和计数功能。

I/O 模块的指示灯：

P=(绿)当模块电源提供正常,指示模块电源正常

C=(绿)当控制器通讯正常及通讯时间监视器无通讯时间超时,指示模块通讯正常。

E=(红)外部故障指示灯。当模块有外部问题时,如公共的辅助电源保险丝断,指示

I=(红)内部故障指示灯。当模块内部发生故障时灯亮,此灯亮一般情况需要更换电子模块

There are six functional blocks in the Emerson DeltaV system:

Advanced Control Function block - Implements complex algorithmic capabilities for advanced process control

Advanced function blocks - Perform advanced functions such as voting and sequencing

Analog Control functional block - performs simple and complex algorithms for a wide range of analog controls

Energy Metering - Performs mathematical flow calculations for natural gas, vapor or other fluids

Input/Output (I/O) function blocks - used for scaling, converting, and filtering input and output signals in other function blocks or field devices

Logical function blocks - Perform logical functions for sequencing, planning, and interlocking.

Math function block - Mathematical functions that perform conversions, integrations, and accumulations.

Timer/Counter function block - Performs timing and counting functions for control and sorting.

I/O module indicator:

P=(green) If the power supply of the module is normal, the power supply of the module is normal

C=(green) If the controller communicates properly and the communication time monitor does not time out, the module communicates properly.

E=(red) External fault indicator. Indicate when the module has external problems, such as a public auxiliary power fuse failure

I=(red) Internal fault indicator. If the indicator is on when an internal fault occurs in the module, you need to replace the electronic module
