All sensors and controllers must demonstrate high impact resistance in periodic temperature shock tests. The highly resistant housing material ensures that salt scale (which can be caused by winter grit) will not affect the product. When driving becomes difficult, the material is subjected to repeated vibrations and extreme shocks.

As a result, these sensors for mobile applications are designed in full package. The connectors are protected from accidental loosening by special vibration protection. The mechanical design of the controllers and modules is particularly suitable for frequent shock and vibration conditions.

The precision electronic equipment is specially EMC tested and has the ability to protect against electromagnetic interference. Conducted interference is also reliably filtered out without affecting the controller. This ensures reliable data exchange through the CAN interface, even when faced with harsh conditions for outdoor applications such as transportation and logistics.
