1模拟量输入输出通道(AI/AO)生产过程中的连续性被测变量(如温度、流量、液位、 压力、浓度、pH值等)，只要由在线检测仪表将其转变为相应的电信号均可送入AI通道，经过A/D 转换后，将数字量送给CPU。而模拟量输出通道一般将计算机输出的数字信号转换为4~20mADC(或 1~5VDC)的连续直流信号，用于控制各种执行机构。

2开关量输入/输出通道(SI/SO)开关量输入通道主要用来采集各种限位开关、继电器 或电磁阀连动触点的开、关状态，并输入至计算机。开关量输出通道主要用于控制电磁阀、继电器、指示灯、声光报警器等只具有开、关两种状态的设备。

3脉冲输入通道(PI) 许多现场仪表 (如涡轮流量计罗茨式流量计以及一些机械计数装置等) 输出的测量信号为脉冲信号，它们必须通过脉冲输入通道才能送入计算机。

Switching output channel is mainly used to control solenoid valve, relay, indicator light, sound and light alarm and other only have two states of on and off.

3 Pulse input channel (PI) Many field instruments (such as turbine flowmeters and some mechanical counting devices, etc.) output measurement signals as pulse signals, they must pass through the pulse input channel to be sent to the computer.
