PLC的软件系统是指PLC所使用的各种程序的集合。它包括系统程序和用户程序。

（1）系统程序

系统程序包括监控程序、编译程序及诊断程序等。监控程序又称为管理程序，主要用于管理全机。编译程序用来把程序语言翻译成机器语言。诊断程序用来诊断机器故障。系统程序由PLC生产厂家提供，并固化在EPROM中，用户不能直接存取，故也不需要用户干预。

（2）用户程序

用户程序是用户根据现场控制的需要，用PLC的程序语言编制的应用程序，用以实现各种控制要求。用户程序由用户用编程器键入到PLC内存。小型PLC的用户程序比较简单，不需要分段，而是顺序编制的。大中型PLC的用户程序很长，也比较复杂，为使用户程序编制简单清晰，可按功能结构或使用目的将用户程序划分成各个程序模块。按模块结构组成的用户程序，每个模块用来解决一个确定的技术功能，能使很长的程序编制得易于理解，还使得程序的调试和修改变得很容易。

The PLC software system refers to the collection of various programs used by the PLC. It includes system programs and user programs.

(1) System procedures

The system program includes monitoring program, compiler and diagnostic program. The monitor, also known as the manager, is mainly used to manage the whole machine.
