The V7768 dual-slot VME single-board Computer (SBC) provides system designers with the flexibility to cost-effectively accommodate a wide variety of I/O functions while providing outstanding processing performance.

As one of the first products from Abaco Systems to take advantage of Intel's dual-core architecture, the V7768 offers processing speeds of up to 2.16 GHz through an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel 945GME high-speed chipset, and a rich I/O set. To make installation and maintenance easier, the V7768 features the EasyRail PMC mounting system, which allows the PMC palette to be mounted when only accessible from the exposed "top". It is no longer necessary to remove the multi-slot bracket assembly to access the PMC mounting screws, which greatly reduces configuration time.

The V7768 is a VMEbus single-board computer for GE Fanuc's intelligent platform, offering processing speeds of up to 2.16 GHz via an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and up to 2 gb of DDR2 SDRAM. The board integrates the Intel 945GME Expresse chipset and offers a very rich /0 set, making it a very flexible addition to our extended Intel architecture VME sbc family. I/O options include dual Gigabit Ethernet, two SATA ports, four USB 2.0 ports, keyboard/mouse /SVGA on the front panel, and a PMC site with PCI-X support.

The V7768 also offers the Celeron RM processor option, allowing an additional 20 degrees to the maximum operating temperature limit. The V7768 provides a board-to-board connector for GE Fanuc's PMC237CM1/V PMC display board, further providing customer-defined /O capabilities in addition to the PCI-XPMC expansion on the V7768In addition, three additional PMC expansion points are available for customers.
