The MTL2213 supports control of three 100VA safe zone loads independently by three lightweight on/off switches or certified detectors approaching hazardous areas. The switch and the proximity detector may be mixed. The three input circuits are interconnected but completely floating. For near-end detectors and some switching applications, phase-inverse-linking allows the alarm condition of the signal for any state sensor. "Alarm" means the relay's on/off contacts are off and open, and all three tracks must operate in the same way.

This compact low cost unit is suitable for a wide variety of applications. The MTL2213 replaces the direct replacement MTIL2212, except that only Terminal 8 can be used to connect to Earth.
