Field Control is a series of highly modular distributed I/O and control products. They are suitable for a variety of host architectures. The core of the field control system is the bus interface unit.

The bus interface unit provides intelligent processing, I/O scanning, and functional configuration modules for up to eight I/O groups. The bus interface unit and its module together constitute the field control station illustration.

The bus interface unit and I/O module are packaged in a robust, compact aluminum housing. The units and I/O modules are bolted securely to separate patch boards that provide all field data terminals. The I/O patch board is universal, allowing different I/O module types to be mounted on the same base.

I/O terminals can be used with box terminals, screen terminals or circuit board connectors. All connectors must be mounted on DIN rails. This DIN rail is an integral part of the grounding system and can also be mounted on the panel.
