MTL831B模拟发射机可以传输多个危险区域通过数据高速公路向安全区域输入信号由一根双绞线组成。它本质上是安全的，而且可以因此应安装在0区危险区域或I类分区

在数据高速公路的另一端，MTL838B-MBF接收器是用于翻译从MTL831B发送的信息的MTL838B-MBF提供Modbus®串行数据输出表示的输入和状态信息。

当MTL831B发射机安装在危险区域时，每条数据高速公路必须由MTL3052数字隔离器保护安装在安全区域。

The MTL831B analog transmitter can transmit multiple danger zones through a data highway and input signals to safe zones consisting of a twisted pair of wires. It is inherently safe and can therefore be installed in Zone 0 danger zones or Class I partitions

1. Dangerous places.

The MTL831B can monitor up to 16 input sources from THC or millivolts or up to 15 inputs from 2,3 or 4-wire RTDS. Providing two (i.e., dual redundant) data highway outputs, signals and power can be transmitted over distances of up to 3 km, depending on the application, cable and (noisy) environment - see section

4.4. Highway cables can be simple twisted pair or twisted pair IS the conductor in a multi-core cable.

At the other end of the data highway, the MTL838B-MBF receiver is used to translate the information sent from the MTL831B. The MTL838B-MBF provides input and status information represented by the Modbus® serial data output.

When the MTL831B transmitter is installed in a hazardous area, each data highway must be installed in a safe area protected by the MTL3052 digital isolator.
