As part of the UNITROL 1000 series, the UNITROL 1005 extends the range to low-end excitation applications with a maximum excitation current of up to 5 ADC. Like all UNITROL1000 products, UNITROL 1005 is based on the same target software source code and shares the same simulation model, making it ideal for demanding grid code applications. Included in the package is the CMT1000, a tool for centralized and fast debugging.

UNITROL 1005 extends the UNITROL 1000 product family to a smaller current range. The Digital Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) uses the same software as the UNITROL 1010 and UNITROL 1020 to prepare for any demanding grid code requirements as well as dynamic fault crossing (FRT) detection. UNITROL 1005 provides the CMT 1000 debugging and maintenance tool for free.
