CPU控制模块是励磁调节器的控制核心,采用美国Microchip公司生产的PIC16F877单片机。PIC16F877具有独特的RISC(精简指令集)结构,数据总线和指令总线分离的哈佛总线结构,使指令只有单字长的特性,且允许指令码的位数可多于8位的数据位数,这与传统的采用CISC结构的8位单片机相比,可以达到2∶1的代码压缩,速度提高4倍。PIC16F877内部带有8路10位A/D转换器,8KХ14位FLASH程序存储器,368Х8位RAM,256Х8位的EEPROM,14个中断源和3个定时/计数器,片内集成多达15个外围设备模块。此外,还有低功耗睡眠模式和片内看门狗电路,易于实现低功耗设计和抗干扰设计。
PIC单片机励磁调节器采集反映发电机运行工况的4个模拟信号,即发电机机端电压UAC和定子电流IB,励磁电压UL和励磁电流IL。这4个模拟信号经过整形滤波后,分别送入对应的4片采样保持器LF398,采样保持器在PIC16F877微控制器RE1脚产生的同步控制信号下,完成4路信号同步采样,将此4路被测信号分别接入RA0、RA1、RA2、RA34个10位A/D端口引脚。模拟输入的模拟参考电压可以在寄存器中设定。PIC16F877的A/D转换结果储存在两个8位的寄存器ADRESH和ADRESL中。由于PIC的A/D模块是电压输入的,所以在回路输入中,电压信号可以直接输入,而电流信号要在输入处接一适当电阻,将其转换成电压后再输入。当A/D模块的输入中有输入电压超过它的最高输入电压5V时,就可能损坏器件。因此,在A/D输入端接上对地5V的稳压管,这样,当有高于最高允许电压的输入电压出现时,利用稳压管可以把它稳定在正常的范围之内。

The PIC16F877 has an 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter, 8K-row 14-bit FLASH program memory,368 row 8-bit RAM, 256-row 8-bit EEPROM,14 interrupt sources and 3 timing/counters, and up to 15 peripheral modules integrated on the chip. In addition, there are low-power sleep mode and on-chip watchdog circuit, easy to achieve low-power design and anti-interference design.
PIC MCU excitation regulator collects four analog signals reflecting the operating conditions of the generator, namely the generator terminal voltage UAC and stator current IB, excitation voltage UL and excitation current IL. After shaping and filtering, these 4 analog signals are sent to the corresponding 4 pieces of sample holder LF398 respectively. The sample holder samples 4 channels of signal synchronously under the synchronous control signal generated by PIC16F877 microcontroller RE1, and connects these 4 channels of measured signals to 10-bit A/D port pins of RA0, RA1, RA2 and RA34 respectively. The analog reference voltage for the analog input can be set in a register. The A/D conversion results of PIC16F877 are stored in two 8-bit registers, ADRESH and ADRESL. Since PIC's A/D module is voltage input, in the loop input, the voltage signal can be directly input, and the current signal should be connected with an appropriate resistance at the input, and then converted into a voltage. When the input voltage of A/D module exceeds its maximum input voltage of 5V, the device may be damaged. Therefore, A 5V voltage regulator is connected to the ground at the A/D input, so that when the input voltage is higher than the maximum allowable voltage, the voltage regulator can stabilize it within the normal range.
