The integrated circuit (IC) holds all control logic and communication protocols. The IC circuit provides the following functions: address comparison and detection. Function code latching and decoding. Read strobe generation.
Data line filtering of bus signal. Car bus driver. The IMFEC11 module can use FSK digital communication fieldbus mode or point-to-point mode. When the FSK receiving gate is enabled on the microprocessor, the FSK intelligent transmitter enters the FSK communication circuit. Table 2-1 lists FSK communications. Figure 2-5 shows the decoding logic which provides a 9-digit word to the microprocessor.
