The ANE2 can be expanded to up to six dual-channel modules, allowing users to connect up to 12 SSI sensors using a single network connection.

The interface is programmed through host controller (PLC) software and is compatible with most gray code or binary SSI sensors, including rotary encoders, linear sensors, bar code readers, and laser distance sensors.

The AnyNET I/O ANE2 dual SSI interface communicates with the host controller (PLC or PAC) over the network. Due to its flexible design, the interface meets a wide range of applications.

It is easy to install on standard DIN rails, simplifying installation and reducing costs. ANE2 is compatible with any PLC that supports the product's available network because it is programmed using input/output registers within the host controller. No additional software is required to use the SSI interface of PLC/PAC.

Users can choose to configure and test ANE2 using AMCI's convenient PC-based network configuration software (free download). By stacking additional units on the "gateway", AnyNET I/O can be easily scaled from 1 I/O module to 6, and all communication requires only one network connection. The solution supports up to 12 SSI sensors over a single network connection, reducing physical wiring and simplifying data traffic on the network.
