Pinnacle Systems' Universal Safety Controller hub replaces multiple separate safety relay modules with a fully integrated, multi-faceted safety center. The safety controller hub contains a large number of input wiring devices for various safety devices that will be integrated into the machine to be protected or controlled. The hub also includes dry contact safety relays and solid state outputs in a complete, compact and reliably controlled safety controller package. This provides ease of installation, improved security, and economic improvements in installation and hardware costs. Typical safety device inputs that can be monitored and controlled by the safety hub are: safety interlock switches (all types), safety light curtains, emergency stop switches, cable traction switches, safety pads, reliable control valves, silencing systems, operator two-hand control with anti-bundling/concurrent logic, EDM(External device monitoring), and more. The Security controller hub has 24 security input terminals and can use security or non-security devices. (Extensible).

The safety hub can monitor the input signal or provide 24 volts of direct current when needed.

The input can be NPN suction/ground or PNP source /+24VDC.

The monitored mechanical tethered contact safety relay output (dry) is a built-in standard within the safety hub.

The monitored solid state output is built into the security hub.

Safety channels A and B are both independent and sequential pulses to prevent 4-wire emergency brake components and internal short circuits.
