Microsoft Technology Updates SCADAvantage also offers a variety of value-added oil and gas applications integrated into the system, enabling users to reduce operating costs. SCADAvantage 5.2 offers two new applications for the natural gas market:

Gas Schedule Tracking - Regularly calculate forecast EOD(end of day) contract numbers and flow required to meet the number of contracts for each configuration contract.

line-Pack - Regular calculation of gas volume (volume) estimates within physical pipeline segments/networks Users are able to change working practices by providing enterprise-wide access to information. It also helps them achieve high levels of personnel safety, protect the environment and increase production by reducing downtime and implementing optimization tools.

The flexibility and scalability of the SCADAvantage system reduces project implementation costs, while the simplicity of the system reduces lifecycle support costs.
