5069-IB16 is a separate input module for Allen-Bradley. The module is part of the Compact 5000 I/O series. The module operates in a voltage range of 10-32VDC and provides sixteen (16) feed current input channels, allowing the integration of signal devices into a programmable automation controller (PAC).
The 5069-IB16 supports a local I/O module as a CompactLogix controller or as a distributed I/O component installed with the Compact 5000 Ethernet I/P communication adapter. Regardless of which module is used, the input channel of the module is activated at the minimum voltage voltage of 10VDC, the maximum voltage of 32VDC, and the nominal rating of 24VDC. Similarly, the minimum conduction current is 4 mA@10V and the maximum conduction current is 7.4 mA@32VDC, while the nominal input current is 6 mA@24VDC.

Suitable wire sizes for signal connections are 0.5-1.5 mm2 (22-16 AWG) solid or stranded shielded copper wire with an insulation class of 105 °C (221 °F) or higher and a maximum diameter (including insulation) of 2.9 mm (0.11 in). When using spring type RTB, it is recommended to use only one (1) wire per terminal. Similarly, when using screw type RTB, the recommended wire diameter is 0.5-1.5 mm2 (22... 16 AWG) Solid or stranded shielded copper wire with an insulation class of 105 °C (221 °F) or higher with a maximum diameter of 3.5 mm (0.14 in) including insulation.

The shell can only be accessed through the device. Use separate external power supplies for MOD power supplies and SA power supplies. This prevents undesirable consequences that can occur when only one is used.
