Allen-Bradley 1756-IRT8I is a ControlLogix analog input module with eight (8) configurable channels for resistance temperature detector (RTD), thermocouple, and millivolt inputs.
The module realizes high resolution analog-to-digital conversion by Sigma Delta method. The converted data is saved to IEEE 32-bit floating point. Human Machine interfaces (HMI), supervisory control and Data acquisition (SCADA), and distributed control systems (DCS) are ideal for accessing the converted data. In addition to computer-based systems, signal data can be used for computation, as well as process variables (PVS) for controllers, such as ratio + integral + differential (PID).
The module is capable of open circuit detection with thermocouple input and 3-wire RTD detection time of 2 seconds and 4-wire RTD detection time of 5 seconds.
The input range supported by this module is 1-500? 2-1000? , 4-2000? - 8-4000? And -100 to 100 millivolts. The total resolution of the module is 24 bits. The actual resolution is 0...
