The Allen-Bradley 1746-A4 is an expansion module consisting of 4 slots and mounting pieces to house modules from the SLC 500 series. The part itself belongs to the SLC 500 A modular chassis family. The panel mounting rack requires its own power supply, which will be bolted to the left end panel (power support panel). The right end and center panels are held still by latches, so no screws are required. Install the chassis on the chassis through the four holes for securing the mounting latch. In order to leave an energized channel between the case and the rear panel, some paint may need to be scraped off.
