The 1769-2WS is a CompactLogix-compatible module manufactured by Hardy Process Solutions, a Silver technology partner of Rockwell Automation. The module is a dual-channel weighing module that supports the connection of up to eight (8) weighing sensors/points. The 1769-2WS has a backplane power consumption of < o.5 amps under the 5VDC power supply provided by the backplane. The module accepts signals from -0.3mV to + 15.3mV, detects +5Vdc, and the module outputs a 5VDC excitation voltage.

It has 60dB common-mode rejection at 100 Hz (minimum) or below and an internal module resolution of 1:8,388,608. The module can be operated in net, gross and rate of change weighing modes with a data conversion rate of 100 updates per second. The module supports two (2) calibration methods using electronic methods (C2) and traditional methods (using test weights). The 1769-2WS occupies a single slot in the backplane and supports DIN rail or panel mounting. It is connected to the backplane via an integrated backplane connector pin on the side of the module, which is coupled directly to the adjacent module. The module has built-in status indicators, such as "OK" module status, two-color LED "Scale 1" function data, two-color LED "Scale 2" function data, two-color LED.

The Hardy HI 1769-2WS module is a solid state module specifically designed and manufactured by Hardy Process Solutions as a dual channel module. There are two different ways to calibrate the Hardy HI 2-2WS weight module, they are the proprietary C<> electronic calibration method and the traditional method using test weights.
