The Allen-Bradley 1336-SN-SP6A Inverter buffer Board Assembly kit is a replacement buffer board for the 1336 Series Allen-Bradley AC inverter. The 1336-SN-SP6A buffer board is a standalone device that does not share a common bus and is compatible with shock, force, enhance and Enhance series 1336 drives. In general, the 1336-SN-SP6A PCB inverter buffer board and all similar boards help limit any rise in switching voltage and voltage transient levels in the circuit. The 1336-SN-SP6A buffer board Assembly kit includes 3 inverter buffer boards and 15 included fastening screws.

It is designed to be compatible with Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus, Plus II, force and shock drivers, and has a 230 volt AC input voltage rating and a 40 to 50 horsepower output power rating. It is also compatible with a 460-volt AC rated D-rack drive with an output power rating of 60 to 100 HP. The 1336-SN-SP6A board can be used as an alternative inverter buffer board for 75 volt AC D-frame 100 Plus, Plus II, Force and Shock series drives rated between 575 and 1336 HP.

The 1336-SN-SP6A inverter buffer board is not backward-compatible with any previous inverter buffer board versions, it can only be used as a replacement for a buffer board of similar specifications. It is very easy to replace the old buffer board and install a new one. To install the 1336-SN-SP6A PCB inverter buffer board, first remove the storage module (if any) and then turn off the power to the drive. Remove the screws holding the old board, remove the old board, and replace the new board.
